About Us

Our mission is to work to ensure that Tonto Natural Bridge is preserved and enhanced and remains open for current and future generations. Our goal is to raise awareness of the public that this magnificent natural wonder exists and to promote visitation. It is also to enhance the visitor experience and to assist in operations through volunteer efforts.

The Friends of Tonto Natural Bridge State Park is a 501(c3) nonprofit corporation and is affiliated with the Arizona State Parks Foundation.

Please keep the evening of August 4th open as we are planning the "Taste at the Bridge" event from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Tonto Natural Bridge State Park. Check back for more information, soon.

A group of talented local musicians has put together a CD of music recorded at the Tonto Natural Bridge. Proceds from the sale go to the Friends of Tonto Natural Bridge. You can purchase your copy for $20 from the Rim Country Chamber of Commerce office on Main Street in Payson.

Arizona State Parks is looking for feedback on Tonto Natural Bridge State Park. Now is your chance to let them know what you think. You can find the online survey here.

The Friends of Tonto Natural Bridge recently donated $10,000 to Arizona State Parks to assist in keeping the bridge open through September 2011.

The Friends of Tonto Natural Bridge were successful in working in partnership with American Outdoor Advertising to have printed and installed a billboard in Rye, Arizona advertising Tonto Natural Bridge State Park.
